Vulva

THE WHOLE LANDSCAPE OF PLEASURE WORTH DISCOVERING

When we talk about the female sexual organ, we often use the word “vagina.” Anatomically, however, they are not the same thing. The vagina is the internal muscular canal, while the entire beautiful, living and diverse landscape of pleasure that you can see, smell and touch is called the vulva.

And this is where much of the potential for awakening her pleasure lies – if you learn to explore it with different eyes.

THE ANATOMY OF UNIQUENESS

The vulva is not a static “object.” It is a soft landscape of different textures, colours and shapes. Every woman in the world has a completely unique vulva:

- Some have larger, more prominent outer labia, while others have smaller ones.

- In some women, the inner labia are longer and extend beyond the outer labia; in others, they are almost completely hidden.

- They can be lighter or darker, come in different shades and are often somewhat asymmetrical.

All of this is part of the normal diversity of the female body.

It is worth getting to know its different parts like a map:

- Mons pubis: The warm, soft mound above the pubic bone. An excellent place to begin with the gentle pressure of your palm or pelvis, warming the entire area.

- Outer labia: The outer folds that protect the more delicate structures within. They respond to touch, pressure, kissing and massage.

- Inner labia: The inner, silky folds that form a highly sensitive erogenous zone. An ideal place for the gentlest gliding touches and the warmth of your tongue.

- Clitoris: The glans at the top is only the tip of the iceberg. Most of the clitoral structure is hidden beneath the surface and embraces the vaginal opening. It is an extremely sensitive organ with a high concentration of nerve endings. Because of this dense network of nerves, clitoral stimulation is the most common route to orgasm for most women.

A LIVING FLOWER THAT CHANGES SHAPE

It is fascinating how the vulva changes with arousal. As blood flow increases, the tissues swell and become warmer, the inner labia may enlarge and change colour, and natural lubrication increases.

It is quite literally a flower opening before your eyes.

In the tantric tradition, the vulva is called Yoni – a sacred space associated with femininity, life and sexual energy. From this perspective, touching the Yoni is not merely a sexual technique, but a way of approaching a woman with attention, patience and respect.

HER SCENT AND TASTE: THE BIGGEST TABOO

Every vulva has its own natural signature – its own distinctive scent and taste. It may be mild, slightly sweet, gently acidic or earthy… and it can change with sexual arousal, perspiration and other natural changes in the body.

With the flood of fragranced intimate products and unrealistic standards, some women worry about whether they smell “good enough” down there.

When a man shows genuine, instinctive appreciation for her unique scent, taste and, not least, appearance – when he immerses himself between her lips with pleasure and without judgement – he gives her something money cannot buy: complete acceptance of her body and the message:“I like you exactly as you are.”

HOW TO EXPLORE HER AS A MAN

Forget the instant “charge” with your fingers straight into the vagina. The vulva needs time to develop its full sensitivity.

Start on the outside. Place your whole palm over her vulva and simply hold it there for a few moments – first, let your bodies exchange warmth. Then gently massage the mons pubis with soft, circular movements. Only when you feel the tissue beneath your hand becoming warmer should you move towards the inner labia and clitoris – always with enough natural lubrication or saliva.

Watch her body and her responses. Ask, for example, whether she likes what you are doing or whether she would like you to stay in that spot a little longer.

Once you make that shift in your mind and begin to see the vulva as an entire landscape of pleasure rather than simply the “entrance,” the whole dynamic of your intimacy changes.

Less rushing. More exploring.

And then there is a good chance that the woman in front of you will open up to you on a level you may never have experienced before.
